May I pick up a packet for a friend or family member?
Yes, with proper identification (copy of driver’s license) someone else may pick up your packet.

Are the race shirts cotton or technical and do they fit true to size?
The race shirts are performance/technical shirts and in some cases will run a size smaller than you would normally wear. For that reason, our shirt partner Fleet Feet Sarasota www.fleetfeetsarasota.com has each size in their store for you to go and try on at your convenience. What is the Police Athletic League of Sarasota County?
The Police Athletic League of Sarasota County (PAL) is a non-profit organization that bridges a relationship between local law enforcement and the youth of Sarasota County through various programs, including Camp X-RAYD, Sailor Circus and Pony PAL. How can I make a donation to PAL or Sarasota Springfest?
If you would like to make an additional contribution, please send your check, made payable to the Sarasota Springfest, 6141 Clark Center Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34238.

Are the Sarasota Springfest courses spectator friendly?
The 5K and 12K Sarasota Springfest courses are both spectator friendly. With the exception of the one gated community, Turtle Rock, the course is run on public roads. There are “Legacy Trail” parking areas. (Please see here for exact locations: http://www.legacytrailfriends.org/html/trailmap.html). In addition, there is ample parking at the Springfest site, which is at the corner of Sawyer Loop and Northridge Road off Clark Road, with the wonderful advantage of already being parked for a day at Springfest.

Is the Sarasota Springfest course certified?
The Sarasota Springfest course has been measured, however it is not certified. New for 2012 will be a chipped timed system for the runners.

Where can I find a map of your course?

What time will the awards ceremony start?
The awards ceremony will begin at approximately 9:15am, which is just under 2 hours after the start of the races.

Are registrations transferrable?
If you have registered and are unable to run the race, you can transfer your registration to another runner, we will work to change the name on all registration materials if prior to March 15, 2012. Otherwise, if you can not make the race, your race entry fee will be considered a donation to Sarasota Springfest.

Is there ample parking at the start area?
Yes. There is ample parking for all of our runners and their guests in parking lots on the west and east sides of Sawyer Loop. There is no charge for parking and all parking spaces are immediately surrounding the start/finish areas so very little walking will be required to get to the start line.
